There is currently no system available to locate inmates being detained within County Jails in New York State. This search engine will not return any useable information on inmates being detained in County Jails.
The Commission of Correction does not hire or oversee Correctional Officers.
If you wish to search for inmates incarcerated in state correctional facilities, information related to state correctional facilities, or employment opportunities with the New York State Department of Correctional Services (DOCS), please utilize the Department of Corrections web site, which is located here.
If you wish to search for employment opportunitities in a local correctional facility, or specific county jail's operations (i.e. visitiation schedules, permissable items), please utilize the Commission's web page entitled New York State County Jail Addresses to contact them directly, which is located here.
